Who I am

Growing up in the 1980s, I was immersed in the world of dog training from an early age. My parents, who were expatriates in South Africa, provided the foundation for my passion. My father was a racehorse trainer, while my mother specialized in showing spaniels, so I was surrounded by dogs from a young age. I would accompany them to puppy training classes and dog shows, and when my mother got her German Shepherd Max , I joined her in training sessions, With a former police dog trainer. Even as a child, I began to develop a deep understanding of canine behavior and training techniques.

We returned back to England. Then in 1992 I welcomed my first Labrador, Jet, into the family. My father also acquired Jet's brother, Duke, and we started attending puppy classes together under the guidance of an exceptional trainer named Peter. For over six years, we trained with Peter, and the experience was invaluable. Under his mentorship, I was able to train a fully functional working Labrador, mastering both whistle commands and hand signals.

Over the years, I have owned several Labradors, Fully trained by myself. I currently, I have five Hungarian Vizslas, three of which are already working dogs, while I have initiated training for the other two. My eldest, Chilli, is set to participate in field trials this year. With over 30 years of experience in training and working with dogs, my goal is to assist as many families and their beloved pets as possible.

I am a certified dog trainer. A Force-free training approach, I am eager to share the skills and knowledge I have accumulated throughout my journey. My aim is to help families with their challenging dogs, transforming them into calm and loving companions who won't jump on guests or bark incessantly. Imagine having a dog with perfect recall or one that walks comfortably on a loose lead – I've been in your shoes, and I can assure you that it is possible to achieve the ideal canine companion who listens to you. Together, we can create an enjoyable atmosphere for both your family and your pets, allowing you to welcome guests into your home with confidence and joy.
